This album was written to serve as a scathing indictment of the oppressive nature of mankind in relation to animals. Each song examines a specific issue relating to animal agriculture, the dairy industry, testing labs, fur farms, commercial fishing, and other industries which allow humans to profit from animal abuse & exploitation.

Many of the lyrical themes were inspired by the book "Eternal Treblinka: Our Treatment of Animals and the Holocaust", written and compiled by Charles Patterson.

Audio clips were used from notable animal rights activists including Gary Yourofsky, Emily Moran Barwick, James Aspey, Gary Francione, John Curtin & Dr. Steve Best.

Intersectionality is vital to any form of activism. While this album focuses specifically on the suffering of non-human animals, the message and lyrical themes extend to the victims of any form of injustice, prejudice, abuse, & exploitation.
